Wonders is a film based on three singers all of whom had hits in 1990s. They get together to form a new super group to try to attain past chart toping hits.It would perhaps have been easier were the producers to have picked stars from the 70s as that era was rich in musical diversity and therefore stronger in the nostalgia market (remember John Travolta in 70s disco saturny night fever?) The 70s fancy dress costume industry alone still runs strongly today .

Other good new Christmas movies include the “Polar Express,” which is largely different in plot from “Four Christmases.” “Polar Express” is an animated Christmas adventure based off of the illustrated children’s book; however, it is a film that both child and adult can appreciate. The visual effects are stunning and will not fail to entertain you and leave you in awe. Tom Hanks does the voice of the Polar Express attendee and does an immaculate job. His voice give a warm feel to the movie as the Polar Express traverses all kinds of snowy landscapes. This is one of the good new Christmas movies because it is based off of a book and is just as good, or better, than the book it is based off of. This is rare for movies to accomplish, but “Polar Express” does it almost effortlessly. The movie will fill you with emotion and put you in the mood for the snowy weather and the holidays. Even if it doesn’t snow where you are from, “Polar Express” offers a fantastical escape into a snowy wonderland.
